Pressure Relief System | Drainage Systems

There is no one solution for every waterproofing problem.

The ultimate goal is to prevent water from entering a structure, not just capture it after it has entered. However, from the control of water intrusion from beneath a basement slab, caused by hydrostatic pressure, we offer the “Pressure Relief System”. This system includes installing a 4” diameter perforated underdrain pipe, in a drainage sleeve, with the entire pipe surrounded by gravel. Also included are weep 1 ½” diameter weep holes drilled in each block, below grade to drain existing and future water from the block, into the system and ultimately out of the structure. We install a vapor barrier prior to re-pouring the concrete floor for added protection.

When installed with the proper amount of fall on the pipe, this system captures the water beneath the existing basement slab, channels it to the sump pit, where it is then discharged from the structure to a location which will not do further damage or run back into the structure.

Our work is constructed by our own crews, NOT SUBCONTRACTORS, in accordance with industry standard and comes with a life of the structure warranty, clearly written in our contracts.
